Heather Holmes, CEO of Lumiant

Advice engagement and client experience platform Lumiant has appointed former Genivity founder Heather Holmes as its new CEO to lead the company through its next phase of becoming an enterprise-ready client experience platform.

As former Chief Executive Officer and founder of Genivity, which launched in the financial service market in 2018 before Lumiant's acquisition, Heather brings a wealth of experience in driving growth efficiently.  Heather grew Genivity’s HALO product from an idea into an enterprise-ready solution and leader in the HealthTech category within the fintech marketplace.

Her success garnered the attention of the Lumiant board and executive team, with Lumiant agreeing to acquire the company in April 2023. The acquisition enabled Lumiant to expand its platform, combining health, wealth and longevity

to power personalized best life plans for clients.

Before founding Genivity, Heather led Global Market Development at Medtronic, the world’s largest medical technology manufacturer. Her experience leading a global team across both emerging and developed regions highlights her strength in establishing and nurturing cross-border trust, collaboration, and partnerships. Heather’s experience uniquely equips her to guide Lumiant through its next phase of growth and development.

“When I started Genivity, I had a clear vision of helping financial advisors engage clients outside their finances and deliver experiences that enabled them to better connect with their clients to provide more personalized plans. We wanted to redefine the financial advisor value proposition from delivering financial services to offering financial experiences for clients,” said Holmes.

“At Lumiant, I’ve been able to go beyond health and longevity planning to help develop an advice experience that improves a client’s overall wellbeing. What Lumiant has built to date is nothing short of transformational, and we’re ready to take the next step and scale this business to help more people live extraordinary lives.”

Former Co-CEOs Blake Wood and Chris Dadej have stepped down as the company seeks to improve capital efficiency and maximize the market's opportunities and potential.
