Sue Viskovic
Sue Viskovic is our Founder and Managing Director of Elixir Consulting. She’s also a proud mother of four; a sought-after speaker; a business coach; and author of a number of books and programs designed for advisers. An active contributor to, and advocate of, the financial advice profession, Sue is passionate about the important role that quality advice can play in society.
With over 20 years’ experience in financial services, with roles spanning banking, funds management, advice and licensee services, Sue has built her career and her business on helping financial advisers, accountants and risk specialists to improve the way that they run their businesses and deliver advice.
Sue founded Elixir back in 2007. Sensing a growing need for independent Practice Management and Business Coaching she built the foundations for a team of Consultants who could assist financial advisers around the country to improve their quality of advice and financial outcomes for business owners, as well as their staff and clients. Sue is thrilled to now share the stewardship of this national organisation with a passionate leadership team supporting highly competent coaches working with advisers in every state of Australia.
Sue is a sought-after speaker at conferences, a highly-rated facilitator and trainer, and contributor to industry publications, Associations and Education providers including the FPA, the AFA, and Kaplan Professional. She has authored the Adviser Pricing Models Research Report (five editions) and two books on adviser pricing models (Pricing Advice and Worth Paying For).
Sue has been awarded the Distinguished Service Award from the Financial Planning Association (FPA), she won the ‘Mentor of the Year Award 2015’ and was also a Finalist for the ‘Woman of the Year 2017’ in the Women in Financial Services Awards; was awarded ‘Practice Management Consultant of the Year 2018’ in the IFA Excellence Awards and a Brains Trust award from XY Adviser in 2018.
Sue has participated in numerous industry committees and volunteer programs, including raising funds for the Future 2 Foundation, two terms as Chapter Chair for the FPA in WA, mentoring for the Macquarie University Lucy and the FPA Women in Financial Planning mentoring programs, and has provided her services as a Judge in the ‘Female Excellence in Advice Awards’ since 2015 and the ‘IFA Excellence Awards’ in 2014, 2015 and 2021.
Since late 2020, Sue has held a Non-Executive Directorship on the Board of Lumiant, a SAAS start-up company designed to deliver exceptional client engagement for financial advisers and Accountants.
